EP 290 features Brandon Marcello, the Chief Innovation Officer for JAG Consulting. He drives forward-thinking and cutting-edge strategies across a variety of human-performance portfolios.
With over 25 years of experience in the performance enhancement industry and extensive involvement in both the applied and research worlds, he has implemented successful, high-performance training programs for professional, Olympic, and collegiate athletes.
Brandon is currently the lead human performance advisor for the U.S. Army Combat Capabilities Development Command Center’s (DEVCOM) Optimizing the Human Weapons System effort.
Prior to his work with JAG, Brandon served as the Director of Sports Performance at Stanford University for seven years. Before his appointment at Stanford, he served as the Director of Performance for USA Softball.
In the late ’90s, Marcello was a Performance Specialist at the International Performance Institute of the IMG Academies, when in 1999 he was approached by Mark Verstegen to join him to help create EXOS (formerly Athletes' Performance, a world-class training facility for professional and elite athletes.
A recognized author, researcher, and international presenter, he routinely speaks around the world on a number of topics pertaining to elite-level training and performance. Above all of his accomplishments, he is also a proud father and husband.
