to help your clients from the sub-acute stage to return to performance, so that you not only set yourself apart as a professional but also manage challenges and complicated cases with confidence.

Taking the Long Road with Joe Kenny
In this EP I speak with legendary Athletic Therapist Joe Kenny. Joe was for close to 40 years, the Lead Athletic Therapist at Brock University in Niagara, Ontario. Joe retired recently, and his legacy at the university is formidable. He is perhaps one of, if not the longest-serving Head AT at a major University in Canada and he has mentored and served countless students and student-athletes throughout his career. Joe and I go way, back, we met many years ago while serving on committees for the Canadian Athletic Therapists Association. We always enjoyed connecting at meetings and conferences. I always admired Joe’s ability to be serious, focused, and on point in his work, but also able to enjoy life and have fun. We had a lot of fun together over the years, that is until he accidentally punched me in the nose on the dance floor! Joe has been married to his wife Karen for 30 years, and they have two grown children who remain the light of his life. I think you'll enjoy this episode and the richness of his life.
