This episode features Kevin Neeld. Kevin is the Head Performance Coach for the Boston Bruins.  Before working for the Bruins, Kevin spent 2 years as an Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach for the San Jose Sharks. 

Before his NHL journey began, Kevin was the director of a private sports performance facility in New Jersey working with pro, college, junior, and elite-level youth hockey players. He’s also been a strength and conditioning coach with the U.S. Women’s Olympic Ice Hockey Team.

Kevin recently completed his PhD in human and sports performance, and his research focused on the relationship between workload and performance in elite hockey. He’s published several articles in peer-reviewed journals and has authored 2 books Ultimate Hockey Training and Speed Training for Hockey. 

He’s been a guest speaker at events hosted by the National Hockey League (NHL), the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA), and USA Hockey. He is also a husband and proud father. Please enjoy this conversation.
