A Pinball Wizard of Speed with Kyle Bolton
This episode features Kyle Bolton. Kyle is currently the Director of Speed and Performance for University of Oregon Football. His primary role within the program is to direct and facilitate all aspects of speed development, conditioning, athletic development, and load management.
Previously Kyle was with the TCU Horned Frogs’ staff as an Associate Director of Football Human Performance. The Horned Frogs went undefeated in the regular season and became the first team from the Big 12 to win a College Football Playoff game and play for a National Championship.
Prior to working at TCU, Kyle spent a year as an assistant athletic performance coach at the University of California, Berkeley, and was the Director of athletic performance operations at Arkansas State University from 2019 to 2021.
Bolton was an assistant athletics performance coach on the athletic performance staff at Baylor University from 2015 to 2016, working with football, track and field, and softball.
Kyle was a standout wide receiver at Baker University. After graduating, he had a short stint with the Minnesota Vikings in the NFL, followed by a season in the CFL with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers and a season in the AFL with the LA Kiss.
A native of Oceanside, California, Kyle and his wife Paige now reside in the Fort Worth area.
